Timer event

Hi friends,

I am displaying in my EXCEL sheet, data validation messages depending the cell which is currently in selection. I am handling Workbook_SheetSelectionChange for the same. It works fine.

I want to improve it further by displaying the validation messages only for a few seconds only. When the curser is in that position for more than, say 15 seconds, the message should go away. I understand that a null string in Selection.Validation.InputMessage will put off the validation message. But how to keep the window running for 15 seconds and delete the message string? I do not want to use Wait command since it will stop program execution for that much time.

Is there any other method by which program will continue and program status changes after a fixed time?

I hope the question is clear without program snippets.
