Hi
I have a large file, named master (1000+ rows) where data is regularly updated. We, in our department, have made a copy of this file (called QA), however we have added certain rows that we need to update manually.
My question is (i'll formulate it as an example):
Day 1. Master is updated with new information. Our QA is hence outdated. I would like a macro (button: "Update data" or formula, that can
- 1: Review the data in QA with Master and then generate a list in QA that shows changes since last update. We have a lot of data and sometimes previous rows have a few changes. We need to know what changes have been made, hence the need for a list generated of these changes.
- 2: If new data is added to Master, these get copied over to QA. Often completely new data is added to Master and this when we "update data" just needs to be added to the QA file. Here we don't necessarily need a list to be generated.
The list that gets generated. My thoughts were that a new "sheet" would be created where the list would be shown.
I hope this makes sense?
