If cell contains value, match with previous path and copy all data from rows that match

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to figure this one out with no success, so thought I'd ask for some help.

I have a permission file that has the paths in one column, the type, users, and permissions in other columns. However, when this permission is inherited from the previous path (path right before the "/"), it doesn't bring the user list. So I want to create a macro that will look through each row and if column B for that path contains "inherited", then it would search for the path right before that one and add the same number of rows, copying all the data. Basically it will copy the user and permission information over to that path as well.

In my example below, the path "Documents/sites/My Site/Folder A" says inherited, so it would copy all the rows from the path "Documents/sites/My Site" so that they match. Also, for the path "Documents/sites/My Site/Folder A/Subfolder B" that also says inherited, it would copy all the rows from the path ""Documents/sites/My Site/Folder A", so that they match.

Is this possible? I'm attaching the sample file with the data sheet and another that has my desired result. I highlighted the rows I changed/added in the desired results tab in yellow.
