    Renaming excel sheet

    Hi People,
    I hope you are doing great. Posting another query on which I am working on. I want to rename excel sheet using VBA. I've close to 400 sheets in a workbook. My ask is following -

    In the VBA code, provide the existing name and the new name of the excel sheet to be renamed. For example -
    Sheet 1 to be renamed as AP001
    Sheet 2 to be renamed as AP005
    Sheet 3 to be renamed as AP006

    Can you guys help me with a code where I can provide the above input and run a code to rename the sheet.

    Hi Varun


    What you ask is very easy. Place your table in a sheet called "Index" Starting at A1 then run this macro.

    So A1 = Sheet 1, B1 = AP001
