    Code/Solution for Hiding Columns

    Hi

    Complete Excel n00b here - I am creating a large action tracker.. I have created data validation drop down with 8 selections in column C

    There is one selection titled 'Validation' which needs to show columns K:V - The rest of the drop down selections should have them hidden.

    Is there some visual code or a format I can process that will enable this?

    I did get some coding to work on one row (starts in row 3) but it doesn't follow on to any of the other rows...

    Any help HUUUGELY appreciated!

    Welcome to the Forum!

    Need a bit more info on what you are trying to do.
    It seems that you have a data-validation dropdown which shows 8 options, one of which is 'Validation'.
    When this is chosen you want columns K:V hidden
    That can be done using event-code for the sheet to detect the change made i.e. new selection in that cell with the data-validation.
    But if you have this dropdown in multiple-cells, then it doesn't seem to make sense.
    One cell could have the 'Validation' chosen, and other cells could have different options chosen.
    You are now into quantum-physics territory: columsn K:V are both hidden and not-hidden at the same time?????

    ...and this is why I am a n00b.. You are absolutely right! In that case, perhaps better to split the data across multiple tabs and pull through the columns I do want onto one central tab using VLOOKUP. Thank you!!
