Macro to enter 1st and last column values from Sheet 1 into cells E6 and H6 of Sheet 2

On sheet 1, on Column B, I have dates entered in sequential order. I would like to use worksheet.activate to call a macro which will enter the first date value from Sheet 1 into the E6 cell of Sheet 2 and the last column date value from sheet 1 into the H6 cell of Sheet 2.

How would I write that?

For example:

1. Sheet2 module

I have formulas in the Sheet 1 B column. Does that cause a problem with the H6 paste-in?
