VBA to choose from a drop down and move to a particular column

If it possible to use conditional formatting so that if you choose a specific item from a drop down list, you automatically move to a particula column in that same row? I have a spreadsheet that I'm using for bank balancing and I was to move directly to the debit column if I choose "transfer out" from the drop down list in the transaction column.

    Welcome to the forum.

No, conditional formatting cannot do that - formatting is to do with the way a cell looks (colours/borders/text). If it's possible at all, it will require VBA coding. Shall I move the thread for you?
