Lightbulb Macro required to separate numbers from one column into 4

Below is a list of coordinates (ID#, easting, northing, level). When I paste this into excel it all ends up in column A. I need to separate these so the ID (e.g. 1A.1) is in column A, the easting (e.g. 232443.508) in column B, the northing (e.g. 333090.416) in column C and the level (e.g. 81.372) in column D. Obviously I can go through and do this manually but that is taking time and the list of coordinates could run into the thousands.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Data below:

    1A.1 232443.508 333090.416 81.372
    1A.2 232463.683 333095.373 81.534

    Paste into a single column.

    Data
    Text to columns
    Delimited
    NEXT
    Space

Just do what it says.... Follow the instructions.

After they're in a single column.

Data: Go to ribbon Tab "Data"
Text to columns: Click on Text to columns.
    Delimited: Select Delimited.
    NEXT: Click Next
Space: select space as the delimiter
    Finish: Finish click finish.

    Err.... that's it. Done.
