Try calling and using the standard data entry form, button attached.

Thank you so much for the reply and the the code work you did. Where Does this form come from - I couldn't find it in the code. It's possible I did it wrong. but when I ran the code it ended up on the "Expenses" sheet when I wanted it on the "Exp_Anaysis" Sheet (I changed the name).

I put it in its own macro and for some weird reason sometimes the code would get a 1004 "Select message of range class failed"

I'll try and hunt what's happening.

Is it possible to use my User3 Form?

Actually now the worksheet is frozen.

This userform is built in to excel and can work for any table. But that's why it won't work on the pivot table, since the pivot is created from that first table.

Unfortunately that threw a 1004 method of worksheet class failed.

I'm not trying to get this to work on a pivot table. I simply want a form to stay on one sheet Exp_analysis and transfer data to Sheet "Expenses" while Userform3 still remaining open on the sheet Exp_analysis. It,s a small thing i guess having to enter data on one sheet and have to switch to another, but that is what I was hoping for.
