Powerquery working for me but not others

    Hi all,

I've attached a sheet with dummy data that I have produced some powerquery tables for and therefore some charts associated with it.

I've tested this on my windows and my MAC and both work perfectly, but when the person I am sending it to tries, they click refresh data and nothing happens. They sent me a video so I can see they are doing it after selecting enable content etc - but their version of Excel (MAC) looks a little more dated than mine - could that be the reason? I am using the latest Office but theirs looks to be 2011.

If that is the case, is there anything I can do to make it friendly for 2011 users?

    Many thanks
    Izzie

It certainly WON'T work on Mac 2011. Good to know that the Mac 365 version finally supports PQ, though.

Would it work on Excel 2011 Windows? As he said he also sent it to his friend with windows and they had the same issue.

Bumping into so many issues when it comes to transferring Excel workbooks to Mac - wish they'd sort out the functionality, already.

There was no such version for Windows.

Power Query is available as an add-in for Excel 2010 and 2013: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/down....aspx?id=39379

It is part of Excel 2016 and above.

It will not work at all on versions earlier than Excel 2010 for Windows.
