Tablet(s) that can run User Form VBA Macros.

Hi Everyone, I have a couple of questions regarding the use of a tablet for data collection via a user form.

My project I'm currently working on is about putting a Workbook on a tablet that opens as a User form for data input. The Team Members have several combo boxes where they can make selections and there will be text boxes for additional information to be added. The TM's will conclude the process by clicking an Exit Button on the user form. I removed the title bar and boarder from the form and hidden a button in the user form to unload it and gain access to the Data tab.

Questions: What Tablet would best serve my needs for this project? When a TM selects a Text Box will a keyboard automatically open to allow for their input? If not what and how hard is it to add to the macro?

    Thanks for your input.

    Cheers

VBA is not supported on mobile devices, only Windows and MacOS.

A Surface tablet should work since it runs full fat Windows.

    Hi Rorya,

What make model would you go with?

    Thanks for your contribution.

They’re only made by Microsoft. Specs are a personal matter but I always go for the highest you can afford.

I think you can emulate Windows on other systems, Limbo, Wine etc, although I have no personal experience of this.

Thanks for your contribution. I will return with my findings once I have selected the "Tablet" I select.
