    Date Increasing

    Hello all
I have an excel sheet containing information for many machines that needs maintenance, each machine has a starting date of maintenance and the maintenance will be done repetitively in a specific frequency ( some are daily, weekly, monthly, semi annual or annual and many frequencies), i need to put the date of today or tomorrow or any coming date to see what are the machines that need maintenance at that date and the information of each machine
i will link the file, the task schedule is the frequency (NM:1 is monthly....) the task last date done is the reference date of each machine
how can i do it ?

    Hi,
I tried to resolve your problem without VBA.
First: I separate the column "Tasks.Schedule" in two columns with text to columns feature.
Second: I created a new column for the schedule date with the formula:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

After that you can simply filter to find the upcoming schedule maintenance date

    Re: Date Increasing

If you don't know how to use "Text to columns" from Data tab, maybe the formulas are more useful.
I attached the file with those modifications. But there are some inconsistency in the periods in your worksheet. You have, in Task.Schedule column, periods like NM:4 and w8. It's difficult for anyone to handle this..

    Re: Date Increasing

    Hi,
On the column that I named "Next Date" in last attachment you can just filter for what year you need.
I have some question: the column Tasks.DateLastDone is always in the text format?
And the column Tasks.Schedulecan have records like M3 and M:3 ?
What are the entire list of time periods (like D, ND, W, NM) that you will have in that column?

Yes it is in text format not date format and the task schedule did not defined but as you mention nm:3 means one every 3 months and so on
