Mass Mailer CC's me How do I stop it?

I am tasked with sending out bulk mail on behalf of my buyers.

The following code works well. What I do is loop through a table that gets the distribution list to send to, the buyer's name (for the CC on the outbound and Reply to on the inbound) and a subject that gets computed on what company is getting the mail, etc. I pass this information to the subroutine below.

The issue is that when any of the recipients replies to the email, it goes to the buyer as it should, but it gets CC'ed to me. My email address is NOT on the outbound CC. How do I stop this?

I included a test workbook. Fill in the blanks - click on the button It's set up to display and NOT send the message.

One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

I'm not able to reproduce what you are describing. I set up the email addresses using my own domain name, a different one for the To, From, ReplyTo, and CC addresses, and sent the email. When I receive the mail and then Reply All, it is addressed to the ReplyTo and CC addresses. The only place your email address would appear in the email is the sending account, and the ReplyTo address should override that on a reply. Even if not, I would expect the reply to go To your email and not CC it.

Nonetheless, I suspect this is a limitation of how Outlook manages mail and the degree to which it allows you to have control over the SMTP header.

Are you using Microsoft Exchange, or sending through an SMTP server? If the latter we might want to look at alternatives to using Outlook to send the mail.

Yes, the issue may be that this is my work account so it is on an exchange server.

I have to wait until I get home so I can send mail back and forth without bothering my coworkers.
