Conditional Format to Remove Colour

I need 2 conditional Formatting rules for a table.

Conditional Formatting 1

I have a worksheet. With Column $F attached to a Lookup Table. When I enter from the lookup table in column F I need the matching cell in column G to turn yellow so I can see it is waiting for data.


Conditional Formatting 2.

When I enter any data in Column G i would like the colouring to be removed to the existing format of the table.

Any help appreciated.

Why don't you just use CF to colour blank cells? And when you enter data, the cell will revert to the underlying colour/format.
