Need sound for both 32 and 64 bit Excel

Last month, I had posted a request that would allow me to add simple sound effects to my spreadsheet. TMS was nice enough to help me, but it seems that the spreadsheet causes a major error on my home computer (64 bit version)

    My original post is here:

I have done enough research on my own to determine that the problem is with the 64 bit version, but I am too much of a novice to understand how to adapt TMS's code to allow the spreadsheet to function on both versions.

I hope someone can help! Thanks!

The function declaration was wrong - it should be:

    not:

When I copied the same code as before but replaced the declare statement with your top line, I get "Compile Error" and "Expected: end of statement".

    Did I do something wrong?

Sorry, I overlooked the type declaration character on the function name. Either use:

    or:
