Macro which work with Excel 365, but not for 2006 Professional

    Hi friends,

I have this code (purpose of formula there is to extract some amounts from column B (highlighted by yellow in attached file) and put them in valid number format into column D (highlighted by green in attached file).

Problem is that code works perfectly for me on Excel 365, but if I send it to my colleagues which majority of them are on 2016 professional, it shows them Run-time error '1004': Application-defined or object-defined error.

Could you pls help me to fix it and if possible to make this code applicable for different versions of Excel?

Hi, thank you very much for your quick response.
It works for me, but I need to send it to others and ask them for testing with their Excels. Once I receive feedback I'll let you know.

Refer to attached file, this is what my colleague sent me as result from his version of Excel. As I mentioned before, it works for me, if I press button "TEST IT" then it calculates is correctly for my Excel version, but no for him.

Hi Bo_Ry, I just tested it only on my side, but it didn't calculates everything correctly. Therefore I didn't send it to other for testing, because it has to be compatible for me as well. Refer to attached file with results. It looks that problem is with formula, it's giving different results as is expected.

the SEQUENCE function is only available to those on a Microsoft 365 subscription. It will not be available in Excel 2019 or earlier versions.

You need a small tweak to Fluff's code for 2016:

Rory, this looks like a solution. Works for me, works for my colleague. Let me make some additional tests and I will come back with the final statement.
