Hello, I have a Spreadsheet with Historical Weather Data for each day of the calendar year for a few well-known cities in India.
I have another city (in the same time Zone) where we have relatives where I am tracking the weather via a weather data feed, to see if and when it's
temperatures meet or surpass the Historical Highs and/or Lows of any of the Individual well-known cities that I have identified.
When this occurs, I would like an email to be sent to me (via Outlook) that alerts me to each and every initial occurrence of this
meeting or surpassing of a Historical High and/or Low Temperature in a given day. This email would identify the following:
1. The Date (A4) when this occurred.
2. The High and/or Low value that was met or surpassed OR (alternatively), the Cell (for example E5) where the
meeting or surpassing took place.
In my attached example I have Salem, India ending with a Current Temperature of 22 degrees Celsius on 2/25/2022. However during
the day I know that in Cell B4 it started off the day at 20 degrees Celsius temperature. This surpassed the Historical low of the city Vizag.
As such, I would want an email sent to me via Outlook to inform me of this initial occurrence. However, I also know that on that day
in Salem the Temperature rose to 36 degrees Celsius before falling to 22 degrees Celsius (thus equaling the Historical Vizag low for
that day). I would not want a second email for this second occurrence of meeting or surpassing the same High (or in this case, Low)
for the same cell (in this case cell E5). In taking this example of 2/25/2022 further, I would also be receiving 6 additional emails
for the Highs met or Surpassed that day in 6 of the 7 well-know cities I've identified since Salem's high that day was 38. My apologies, as I have no
VBA knowledge and I am anticipating a solution would involve the need to be skilled in that area. If anyone might be able to suggest steps for a
solution, I would greatly appreciate any help given. Thank you.
