Hi,
I am experiencing issues concerning what I think might be an Excel version problem.
Does the Excel version has anything to do with the VBA?
Is this question at the right place?
Regards.

No - I'll move it to the VBA section.
There have been changes, but you'd need to tell us the versions concerned in your case.

Hi,
some weird things may happen under 365 versions, to compare between computers, check for any update, …
My PC 1:Excel version: 2203 The VBA immediately stops working after opening, as I move from the cell the workbook was last saved (created by someone else on another computer).
My PC 2:Excel version: 2204 The VBA immediately stops working after opening, as I move from the cell the workbook was last saved (created by someone else on another computer).
My PC 3:Excel version: 2102 The VBA works fine.
I think 2203 and 2204 are beta builds - you are better off NOT using beta builds for anything that is mission critical, as there can be unexpected issues. I would revert to 2102.
Thank you
All 3 computers have Microsoft 365.
I can try to revert to 2102 if thats possible. I have only installed office the normal way but maybe downloaded MS Office updates through Windows update.
The weird thing is that the most function in VBA works for me, just not these latest edits.
Whenever something breaks, the first thing to do is revert to the last version where it was working. This is easy to do via Office updates. If you got these versions without being on the beta channel, then they are no longer beta versions, but whether or not they are beta versions, you still need to revert to the last version you had under which the VBA was workning.
What I am really saying is that VBA breaking is Microsoft's issue and they need to fix it: in the meantime, use the last version that was not broken. I really hope this makes sense!
The short answer to your original question is yes, things can break, and if they do, go back to a non-broken version.
I will try to revert to the older version and see if that helps
Thank you!
