Check mark behind the shapes

I am trying to put or insert a shape behind the check mark.
See attachment of the sample sheet.

It can't be done. The check mark is a character in cell text, and the box is a shape. Shapes are overlays on top of the grid. Shapes cannot go behind cell content.

What about if I add a images of box? Will still be the same?

Not sure I understand what you mean by "images of box".

I would just put a check mark as text right in the box, see attached.

Two other options...

Resize cell into square and put a border around the cell containing the check...
Place a square shape with no fill in cell...
