    Unable to set the NumberFormat property of the PivotField Class

    Can anyone help on why I am getting this error

    Can you manually set a number format for that field in the field options?
    Everyone who confuses correlation and causation ends up dead.

    Using the field settings dialog, not the format cells one?

    I don't see any format options there, just subtotals & filters and layout & print

    That would explain why you can't do it in code then - the field is not being seen as numeric.
