Hello experts,
I need to update a summary sheet 1 of about 1000 rows using information from sheet 2 in the example below. I want the Micros to look for the corresponding PG# and update that row.

Thank you so much, it worked perfectly on the example sheet. But it is beyond my ability to apply it on my actual sheet. I attached it here. Could you please show me how it will be with this sheet?
your sample file and actual file have totally different column structure
the ss summary sheet and sheet2 in your actual file also has different column structure
Oh, I am sorry I thought it is better to just make it simple then I can apply it to my sheet. It turns out that I didn't understand how did you do that magic. Is it easy to explain to me what should I change? The row in sheet 2 actually came from a form, what if it was in other cells? Sorry that it is complicated
I appreciate your help
if you can make the source columns and the destination columns contiguous, similar to your initial file, upload the sample file then i can try to modify the code
i dont have enough experience with non contiguous columns using an array
I will complete my form and then send it to you.
Thank you so much
i found a code it is not made by me
moved the pgnum of ss summary sheet to column A
deleted the columns in sheet2 that does not appear in ss summary sheet
the red font and bold is just to easily discern the updated values
also edited some values just to help with the update display
try if its ok with you
Hello,
The first code worked like magic. This file with two sheets attached has the same number of columns. I tried to apply the first code to them but it didn't work. which changes should I make?
Thanks
