Storing the active cell as a variable

Hello I want to store the Activecell as a variable so that I can use I ca use it later on. Suppose my Activecell was A1, I want to store A1 as a variable because i want to change the Activecell and perform some calculations but I want to offset A1 to determine where I will put the result of those calculations
