small Vproblem to solve . I set up a file that when I open it with the workbook open function, it refreshes a query that I linked to another excel folder. I would like to activate another macro at the end of the query refresh, how can I do it?

First go to the data tab and look at the query. Right click on it and look at the properties. Click OFF the box that says Allow Background Refresh. This means that nothing happens until the query completes. If you want to be extra cautious throw in a DoEvents.
