There isn't function named CountCellsByColor in your macro.
Oh my, I pasted the wrong formula into this form. It is correct in my workbook. Edited original post.

Where have you put the code? It needs to be in a standard module.

Not sure what happenend, but I closed and reopened and it works fine....
You didn't enabled macro on opening the file, it will show #NAME because of macro security.
