Erase All my Macros

Hi There, my name is Felipe.

I am an advanced Excel user. I use and combine Macros with Power Query to manage databases and calculations. I have a problem with a file that I have rebuilt several times.

For no reason, at any time, when opening the file the macros disappear, only the empty modules remain and the file is corrupted and no changes can be made, it cannot be saved, even though the file can be used without saving changes.

Can anyone help me figure out what's going on? Thank you

I recently had similar occurrence here. I would fix the issue by rewriting the macro from the beginning, then after a few times of use, the workbook would become
corrupted. I never discovered what was causing the issue. This necessitated the wiping clean of my computer ... reinstalling Win 10 and all my other software. So far things are good but I cannot distribute any workbooks to other computers because they dont function on the other computer. I'm still trying to find the solution to that issue.

You could try 'Stellar Repair for Excel'. Free download and a lot of recommendations from people with similar errors to you.

I did the same procedure as you. Inclusive I have the same issue about sharing any workbooks to other computer, sometimes Run without problem, then from nowhere the problem returns, and erasing all my codes in the Modules. As you can see in the attachments, the left panel is empty, and I can't create a new module to write the codes. Write the code again in my case, will take to much time. I get a backup of my codes in a *.bas File, then I imported the codes, but the problems don’t stop here. The next problem is the Power Query tables and formulas, the emigrations of the Data duplicate some query and Parameters, cleaning up is too long.

The App did not work, the macros were literally deleted, and who knows where they are.

I feel your pain! Sorry to say I have no idea, but out of curiosity, is the file on a network drive or on your computer?

well, actually is in my Computer, but when I had saved in Onedrive, the problem appeared faster
