Hi Excel Forum, I Would very much appreciate your help with something !!
I have a power Query Table that i have been working on which finally ,and very gratefully, i have transposed a csv file into something i can work with in Excel!!
The Question i have is this.
In ROWS 7 TO 10 i have my most important data being VOL % label (row7), VOL % (row8), VOL Label (row9), and VOL (row10).
BUT, if you see COLUMN 5 , 17, ETC i have highlighted in yellow some values being volume % 11 {S} (inCOL5:39) and 0 in the row below and then the two more rows below that. These should be in thows 7 to 10 rows i have mentioned above.
i would want these cells that i have highlighted in yellow TO ALWAYS be in ROWS 7,8,9 and 10.
(note, the reason they are down the bottom in col5 is because the source of all this data is a CSV file, now i have tried very hard to receive this CSV file in a way that gives me the specific values results in the SAME ORDER every time, ALAS it doesn't appear to be able to be changed, the best i can have is that at least the column names will always be the same !!, and so the CSV source is what it is).
But i would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to get those highlighted yellow cells to always appear in rows 7 to 10. Please note this data will constantly change so sometimes the cells i want moved (being "volume % 11 {S}" and the actual score of 0 that appears below it and the "volume 11 {S}" and the score of 0 below that) - they will always change so could be in ANY column and in ANY row, but ill always need them to be in row 7,8,9 and 10. but being in the same column as they will be in , so the column doesnt need changing just the row, if that makes sence.
Preferably i would like to achieve this in power query editor (just becuase i am somewhat familiar and can see the steps) however whatever way or advice on how i can achieve this would be thoroughly appreciated !!!!.
My excel file and the source data csv are both attached.
Realy hope you can find a solution.
If its not possible, the perhaps could i start again with the whole CSV import into excel and do something BEFORE i use the TRANSPOSE columns to rows step, but whenever i try this i can only seem to delete the whole row.
Many Many thanks, Steve.
