This might be the most difficult application I have been asked to work out, so I am hopeful that you will be able to come through as you always do.
I have uploaded the help file for this project and will do my best to explain what needs to be done. However, first, I would like to provide some context, so you understand why I am undertaking this task.
We sell patio cushions and are constantly updating the color fabrics we sell. In the past, I would manually have to add or remove colors and it is becoming unmanageable. So I would like to automate this task.
The macro will work on the “Cushions” sheet and will do the following:
To demonstrate the macro, I have highlighted in purple the macro working.
Step 1: Go to “Cushion Lookups” and take A (in my example its taking A4)
Take that name and place it on “Cushions” in D4.
Step 2: Go to “FP Fabric Lookups” and look at A to see if the fabric color is to be included. If yes take that fabric name in col C.
Take that name and place it on “Cushions” in I5, and then continue that for all of the colors.
Step 3: pull all of the formulas on “Cushions” to populate the rest of the data
Step 4 and on. Add a new green line in row 25 and repopulate using Step 1
