Open File + Update Links then Close File

    Greetings!

I am pretty sure its possible, as I've seen the bits and pieces of code to allow for this in other threads. But I am not entirely sure how to bring them together.

What I have is a hierarchial set of spreadsheets, four 'tiers' deep. The lowest level spreadsheets are linked from the third tier spreadsheets; the third tier spreadsheets are linked from the second tiered spreadsheets; and the top level spreadsheet (the fully consolidated one) contains links from the second level spreadsheet.

The directory and file structure for all of these are as follows:
    \tier1\ss tier1.xls
    \tier1\tier2\ss tier2.xls
    \tier1\tier2\tier3\ss tier3.xls
    \tier1\tier2\tier3\tier4\ss tier4.xls

The main 'tier1' folder, which contains all the rest of the files will get moved around quite a bit, so using relative path references is a must to open files. The file structure within the directory won't be changing.

In any case, I just need an example of opening a file via relative path, updating links, then closing the file.

Coincidentally, if there is an easyer way to get updated values for the top tier spreadsheets, please feel free to enlighten me.

    Thanks folks!
