    EMBED("Forms.ComboBox.1","")

    Hi,

Does anyone know what's the purpose/function for the second quotation mark?

    Thanks

    Hello Augustus,

The EMBED function is composed of 2 parts the object type and the item. The item is the area selected to be copied. and determines the view on the embedded document. When item is empty text "", EMBED creates a view on the entire document.

    Sincerely,

As the EMBED function is entirely undocumented, this is only a
wild guess. I suspect that EMBED follows the same syntax as
CreateObject in VBA (since it is creating an object), and that
the second argument is the server name.
