    Macros for all Excel Workbooks

    Hi everybody..
I've created many macros. If I open a new Workbook or sheet I've to install the macro again. Anybody please tell me how to install the macro so that if I open a new workbook all the macros must work.

In my spreadsheets, functions and subroutines that I want available to all spreadsheets I save in a mymacros.xla add-in file. Then under add-ins in the tools menu, I find and locate that add-in and check it. In this way, it operates like other built in add-ins.
This may require some adjusting of the code to make sure it references itself and other workbooks correctly, but I find it a convenient way of having items available to all spreadsheets.

    Smile Personal.xls file

Use the personal.xls file that comes standard with excel. This file is only created when you record a macro. Notice that when you record a new macro and specify the name for the macro, you can choose to record it in the personal.xls workbook. Once you record a macro to the personal workbook, it will be created for you automatically.
Then you can copy all of the macros you need to the personal.xls workbook. This file will open automatically everytime excel starts. It does not have any worksheets, so you won't notice it open. If you want to learn more about this file, try searching for it in the forum. I've seen many posts concerning this topic.
