Changing a pivot table page or data set by using a macro

I've been trying to find some code that would help me create a macro to
change a page in a pivot table, or manipulate, or mask a data set.
Does anyone have a simple macro subroutine that they have created and
    shows how to do this?

You can record a macro as you perform the steps manually. Then, modify
    the resulting code.
