How to attach an Excel spreadsheet to this forum for help

First off I have two spreadsheets that I need suggestions on. I was going to
attach them so the person answering the question could see how I had
developed my spreadsheet. And I figured in this way could answer my question
    better.

So how do you attach a spreadsheet?

    Hi Steve,

This is a text only newsgroup, so please don't!

However, you could post to here, via a web-board such as ExcelForum.

If you do that, and attach a file on the webboard site, all that makes
it to here is a link to the file attachment which is, I feel, an ideal
    compromise.

    HTH,

    Alan.

Thanks Alan, since I am fairly new here. I don't know how to access a
    web-board. Can you explain.

Alan was refering to a site like www.excelforum.com.
However, you are probably better off explaining your query without
attaching a file as very few people will open excel files posted on
    these forums.

Re: How to attach an Excel spreadsheet to this forum for help

Thanks Rowen and Alan for your reply's so quickly. I understand, and will
try to explain problem number one here.

I have one master worksheet that I called my Title Page, I have VBA code
that by clicking on one of several buttons will take you to another
worksheet, so that you can input data. At the top of this second worksheet,
I have a return button. Now both worksheets I have protect the sheets so
that the forumlas and VBA code can not be over written. Also I have gone to
a full screen view, as well as added a color pattern to the background of
each sheet, and lastly on sheet two have added some additional color
    background in select locations.

Now my problem and this only happens sometimes, when I return to my Title
page, the screen on the left side is totaly blank, another words, only half
of one button is showing and none of the background color on that side of
monitor. I can exit out of Excel, and reopen, and eveything is back to
    normal.

These worksheets, will be going out to several people to use, so I don't
want this to happen to them. I have tried this on several PC's at work, and
the same problem has come up. Now I have checked and the PC's RAM in those
machines and they are from 480 to 992. Can part of my problem be not enough
RAM to ran these two worksheets?

Re: How to attach an Excel spreadsheet to this forum for help

    Hi Steve

I am afraid I have no idea how to address this problem. Your best bet
would be to start a new thread with a heading relevant to the problem.
That way you will have more chance of your question being viewed by
    somebody who does know.

    Good luck
