Textbox Keydown event not triggered.
I'm currently being led to the edge of sanity by a problem for which I can't find the cause. I'm hoping either of you more experienced VBA users might be able to shed some light on this.
Problem is basically that under certain circumstances the textbox KeyDown event is not triggered causing the code with it not to run. Text itself entered in the textbox appears normally as typed though and the cursor keeps blinking in the textbox as well indicating for it to have the focus.
I created a application which searches through a excel based database and displays depending upon certain criteria. The problem is after loading new revision data from a masterlist the textbox KeyDown event is not triggered anymore. Even weirder is that when exiting to the VBA editor and running the VBA application again all works properly. The textboxes themselves are located in a frame which itself is located on a MultiPage control.
Does this sound familiar to anybody?
Thanks in advance for any hints or tips.
Best regards,
Leon v/d Willik
EDIT:
I just found something which might be related but for which I do not understand how its involved. After loading data from the master file, the excel button in the system bar is not activated. In case the problem occurs, if I press it and then enter text in the textbox the KeyDown event is triggered. Sound familiar to someone?????
