Question Web Query Macro with embedded proxy id and password.

    Hello all,

    Need some help please.

I've created a simple macro that scrapes a web page into Excel using the web query tool. I an using this at work and my company has a proxy server. When I open excel and run the macro I am prompted to enter my proxy user id and password before it fetches the data.

Problem is I want to automate this and run the file each morning before I get in. Is there anyway of stopping the proxy ID & password promt appearing in Excel when I connect to the net?

Does anyone know if this can be done and is there a script that embeds the proxy address, user id and password into the macro so I can remove this prompt?

    Cheers!
