How to reset all controls (Drop Down list on a sheet)

Can anyone help with this? One of my students is creating a spreadsheet based on a restaurant. On one work sheet he has various choices for starters etc in a drop-down list ( created from the list in validation), and the spreadsheet is going to calcuate the cost of the meal. He then wants to reset the worksheet for the next customer. What is the best way to do this? We have tried resetting all the choices manually and recording it as a macro, but for some reason it didn't work. Any ideas?

Are all of the drop-down lists on one sheet? If so, you can try the following. This can reset them using no code.

    1. Use CTRL + G to open the GoTo menu.

    2. Click the Special button.

    3. Select Data Validation, ensure All is selected below it, and click OK.

    4. Hit the Delete key.
