    Hey guys

I have a simple spreadsheet at the moment which has 2 pages.

I was wondering is any one knew how to do this,

on one sheet "new order" when a customer makes a new order and presses the macro I want that item to be auto automatically taken away from the quantity on the "stock" sheet

    cheers for any help!

I'm not totally sure this will be what you want but you may check and see. It came up a few days back so I saved it for my own use too. Hopefully the attachment works ok.

Hey that would work but I don’t know how I would use it to how I need it, if you have a look at mine. I have 2 separate pages and when the user clicks the macro I need it to take the stock away for what ever was ordered.
I don’t know how it would work, I have different drop downs so I am guessing the macro/formula would need to look up one of them then take it away from the QTY?
    I’m not sure

    heres mine so far

    hey
ive got it to work, but the problem now is that when one order is made it takes it away from the QTY but when i make a new order it reset the last order and just takes the QTY away from the new order.

any one know how to do this i think its proberly VBA and loop
