Webquery via VBA with variable date

Dear All, I have a problem that is driving me nuts, my programming has no style but i can normally make something happen when i want to. I'm currently stumped, in VBA and wanting to retrieve information via a webquery. For basic design sake i recorded a macro to get the events, if it was just for me i'm happy to hack the query everyday and get it to read what i want, but i needs to be standalone, and update every ten minutes, the web page is fine but a new page is created every day so the format of the query changes, by the unique day, using =now() i get the current date convert on the sheet into a format that sql accepts as in (10%2F05%2F07).

Notes R1 holds my date whilst converting U1 holds it as text only
