Hello...

I'm really new to Macros.. i've tried a couple simple sample ones and it seems easy enough, and i have absolutely ZERO VB programming knowledge so hopefully the response doesnt include any of iT! ... and if it does, could you please offer some translation so i have some idea of what it's doing?!..

I'm experimenting with Macros now and am trying to find more efficient ways of returning specific ranges with the Auto-Filter function... basically to get what i want right now, i just do one filter after another.. it's boring and time consuming, and a pain in the *** when you want to start over and find something new..
So, i'm hoping to contain all the most common sorts/filters into handy dropdown menus (where the items in the dropdown lists are Macros)

I want to create a 'Menu' on its own sheet within the workbook, with various dropdown menus so that i can "data-mine" on my main worksheet.... say a few Dropdown lists like Home/Away.... Team... O/U... W/L... Day of Week.. stuff like that..

Example... I want to be able, through various dropdown menus, to fetch TOR games, played on the road, played on Wednesday, with an O/U of 6..

However, when i select these different items/macros from the lists, i dont want the sort/filter performed until i've selected all that i'm looking for... So basically i'll probably need a clickbox or something so that i cant tell it when i'm ready to perform the query..

So:

1) How do i create a dropdown list of macros?

EX: Dropdown list called TEAM... it contains abbreviations for each NHL team and when i select one, i want it to return only games involving that team (i've just made macros by using the Auto-Filter option.. maybe there's a better way but it works for me!)...

Also keep in mind i want to have numerous dropdown lists of this type but i dont want anything returned until i click "OK" or something to that effect..
i want to be able to return the combination of various Dd list selections

2) How do i create a confirmation box?

After i've selected my different filters/macros from the various dropdown boxes, i want to be able to click this confirmation box ("OK") and have it run all my dropdown list macro selections all at once.

A PERFECT example of what I'm trying to do can be found at this link...
I want to more/less replicate what is found here.... (i appologize in advance if this violates any forum policy for posting links)
