    Macro upgrade

    Hello,

I recently upgraded from Excel 2002 to Excel 2003 and discovered that some of my macros lost their shortcut key. It's not ALL the macros, just some of them - no apparent rhyme or reason.

I fixed my macros... however I now have another problem. When I send my excel file to other users, the macros won't work for the users that still have Excel 2002 because the shortcut keys are gone again for their version.

I can't have all the users reassign the letter each time they use my files.
Is there any settings or something that needs to change in my file?

    Thanks, Mary-Lou

    Hello Mary-Lou,

You could assign the shortcut keys each time the workbook opens. This requires a placing VBA macro code in the Workbook_Open() event. The following example sets the shortcut keys for the macro called "Run" to CTRL+SHIFT+r when the workbook opens. If you need help with this, just ask.
