    Merged Cells Problem

    My Cells C2 and D2 are merged. I am trying to input a variable into their cell. However I keep getting a problem.

    I even tired changing the name of the cell in the 'Name Box' in the excel sheet from C2 to Name

    Merged cells should always be avoided, use Centre across selection from the Format menu , under Cells.

    Your code will not input a variable, but get the variable. This will show the difference, note it works if C2:D2 are merged.

    That's Ok, but please take note about not Merged Cells, they are sure to cause problems eventually.

    absolutly, stay well clear and spread the message.

    I see far to many people with merged cells every day beacuse they think it looks 'nice & pretty' then they moan that thay cant figure out why their chart is not working properly.
