    copy and paste problem

I have a workbook with data in certain cells down column B and want to copy them into column A. I know that I can highlight the column and copy and paste them. The trouble is that a macro that I have set up after it pastes it if copy and paste in the whole column it wont work properly but if i copy and paste over Individually it works.

Is there a macro or something that can go down column B and when data is found it copies it to column A indivudally.

    Thanks

    A bit more information please.

    What is your present code?

What is the purpose of this, are you attempting to eliminate blanks?
    Hope that helps.

unfortunally I do not have a code cos im a newbe on macros etc. Im not trying to delete data all im trying to do is if there is data in a cell in column B I need it copied and pasted into column A. As mentioned I know how to highlight the column and copy and paste but the following macro dont work if I do that but it does if the data in row B are copied and pasted indivudally.

Just need help on how to copy data in row B and paste into row A, copying and pasting each cell on its own, working down the workbook until the last entry.

This will copy each cell that contains a value from B to A

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Change Copy to Cut if you want to empty B
