Select certain columns based on date

I am trying to copy information from certain columns from a master list. The problem is i only need information for the past three weeks. I tried sorting in excel and then using =today() as a starting point. I have nothing currently, point me in the right direction please.

You have a number of options that can work for you. It will depend on the layout of your data and the level of automation you prefer. One option is to apply an autofilter to your spreadsheet:

Select the row that contains your headings. Go to DATA-- FILTER--AUTOFILTER. Next, click the drop down arrow in the Date Column, and select CUSTOM. As your custom filter, use is greater than and enter 6/11/2007 (3 months earlier). WHen you apply the filter, only dates newer than 3 months will be visible. Now, you can copy these over to another sheet, or do whatever you would liek with them.

Unfortunately i cannot use the autofilter. I need it to be a button(which i already have) that a excel user with little to no excel experience can easily understand.

I have one column(F) that will only ever have 3 different names. After i run a sort i need each row of information to go to a new worksheet based on the name in column F so i can give a sheet to each person. Thanks again for all the help.
