VBA code runs slow until I push ESC

My Macros used to run very fast. I recently created a new macro (A_ClearOld) that runs before all my other macros. Now, my macros runt much slower, but while they are running, if I push ESC once, the macros run as fast as they used to. I don't know what could have made this happen. Here are my macros:

I dont understand why they all used to run fast, but now they run slow. I didn't change anything in the old macros. Allo I did was create a new separate macro. I even tried taking this macro out of the module completely and the other macros still run slow.

nevermind. i just closed excel and opened it again. guess i shoulda tried that before.
