    AdvancedFilter problem

I'm having a real problem getting AdvancedFilter to work.

I have two sheets, one with all the data, and one with the filter criteria.

I have attached an extract from my Workbook with the relevant code and sheets to test the example.

In the attached example, the Ranges Q50:Y65 and AA50:AI61 is supposed to be loaded from the filtered data from the "Open Calls" sheet. My problem, is that only the first column is transferred and not all 9 columns.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi

    1) You are only sepecifying one column of output. Have the range AC!Q50:Y50 match filters!A6:I6
    2) Change the code in Open_Calls_Filters from

and you should see that there is more data being output.

Is this what you are chasing???

It's what I was chasing, but I tried adding the full range "Q50:Y50" but the results are exactly the same, only the single column is pasted.

This is doing my head in, because you can't trace what the function is doing internally....

    Hi

Run the macro All_Open_Calls_Filters and it will fill the range AC!Q51:X65. Isn't that what you want to do???

That is exactly what it doesn't do. It only fills Q50:Q65

    Yes.

    Hi

If you open the example file, press alt F8, select All_Open_Calls_Filters, Run, then go back to sheet AC, do you only get data in column Q??? When I run it, I get data in Q51:X65.

    I get just "Q" filled.

If it makes a difference I'm using Excel 2003 (SP1)

    Hi

I'm running Excel 2003 (SP3) and it brings back all the data.

Can you try on another machine with at least SP2 or even 2007 and see what happens.

That may take a while, but I'll have a look for another machine that is not 2003 SP1.

Unfortunately, all the machines that will be running this utility will be of that configuration.
