GOTO Function...

If I have multiple sheets in my workbook is it posiable that on opening the workbook to go to a specified cel. For example I'd like it to goto Sheet1 cel A1

Yes, but you need VBA code to do it: right-click on the excel worksheet icon to the left of the File menu and select View Code. Paste the following in to the VBE that will open up, and save the workbook down and reopen to test:
