Lock range of cells dependant on date range

I think the code discussed in here is getting me close, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to adapt it to my needs.

In my spreadsheet, I have the days of the week (Moday-Sunday) in A3:G3

This spreadsheet is used every week, with the start date (in the case of this week, 1/14/08) in cell A1.

I don't want the data in the columns changed unless that column is todays date or earlier (so data in the Saturday column (F:F) can't be modified on Friday, but it could be on Saturday or Sunday).

How do I get this to loop properly?
