    Refreshing the screen/making objects invisible?

I have a rather strange problem. I have a piece of code sitting in the Sheet1 Object which makes an embedded .SWF that is within a .XLS invisible when a particular cell is clicked. However, although the subroutine does run normally, the .SWF remains stubbornly visible (and, indeed, usable) and only actually becomes invisible when one enters and then exits design mode. The original code is:

    I have tried both:

    and:

    - both of them to no avail. The only thing that I've been able to find so far that does make the .SWF disappear is entering and exiting Design Mode (i.e. just clicking the button twice). However, I have been told that there is no way to do that through VBA coding, and making end-users do that over and over again does not seem like a very neat solution.

Therefore, is there anything else that is similar to entering and exiting Design Mode, that would make the .SWF become invisible like it should, and that can be done through VBA code?

    Thanks in advance!

    Edit:

The workbook is here: Download Test.xls
The instructions are here: Download Test_instructions.doc

Your macro security settings need to be set to Low in order for the .XLS to work.

It would help if you attached the workbook.
    Hope that helps.

Am I to take it that there is no solution or workaround to this, then?

Well, if anyone does come up with a solution, please do tell me.
