How can I make an error message display when a required cell is left blank?

Hi, I just want to know if I can make an error message appear if a worksheet is closed with a "required" cell left blank, just like when you leave a blank field in any application on the web. Thanks!!

You can use Data Validation to display a message box if the data entered into the cell doesn't match you criteria. If you want to check the cell before the sheet is saved, you will need a macro.
