VBA - how to install

"Need help with VBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" - a typical useless thread title, but in this case I mean it literally (exept for the exclamation marks). I've been given a new computer with new installations and it does not give explanations to all my searches in the Help-file.
Example: Search for "else" and get 100 hits. Three of them will be about "using if-then-else", but further clicking on those three gives nothing.
I remember vaguely to have seen once that you must download or add-in some of the Help-file for VBA, but I don't rembember how. Can someone please give a quick hint?

Oh, but that is actually where I am when searching for help.
I press F1 or click Help on the Visual Basic Tools - not on the Excel Tools - and then I write "else". This gives a list of 100 hits which in turn must be clicked on one at a time to get the details from the actual page in the Help-file. The problem is that nothing comes up when I click those hits that definitely describes the use of "If...Then...Else". Only hits which by coincidence contain an example with an If-Then-Else construction open a page.
It is as if a certain part containing basic rules is missing from the Help-file, and I think I've read or heard something about it being necessary to download something from somewhere to get the complete VBA Help-file, but perhaps I am confusing this with another set-up - it is a long time ago...
