macro to find matching record in a different workbook

    Hi all,
    Thank you in advance.
I am new to macros and request your expert assistance in helping me save a heap of time.
I have 2 workbooks "tracker to 011207.xls containing 5700 rows of data and
"tracker all responded filtered.xls" containing 337 rows of data.

The first row in each workbook contains headings.

I need to find each of the unique 336 entries in column A of "tracker all.....xls" in column A of "tracker to....xls", and insert the number 1 on the matching row in column BT.

You can create a new column with a key of combined columns and use the vlookup function.
Thta way you don't need a macro.
If you want a macro post a example workbook.
